One of the nice things about Python is the package management tool pip. With pip, installing a new piece of software on your computer can be as simple as typing "pip install X". Pinda enables you to install non-Python packages - e.g. MD simulation packages, legacy data analysis tools, in the same easy way. This can be particularly useful when you are provisioning newly-launched cloud instances - e.g. via Crossbow or EcPc. Currently the packages that can be installed using Pinda include versions of AmberTools and Gromacs, AutoDock Vina, FPocket, PROPKA, PROCHECK and OpenBabel. For more details see here.
