One of the nice things about Python is the package management tool pip. With pip, installing a new piece of software on your computer can be as simple as typing "pip install X". Pinda enables you to install non-Python packages - e.g. MD simulation packages, legacy data analysis tools, in the same easy way. This can be particularly useful when you are provisioning newly-launched cloud instances - e.g. via Crossbow or EcPc. Currently the packages that can be installed using Pinda include versions of AmberTools and Gromacs, AutoDock Vina, FPocket, PROPKA, PROCHECK and OpenBabel.
